AP Physics I
AP Physics is intended to cover everything that would be covered in a college-level, algebra-based physics class. This is to say everything in regular high school physics, plus rotation (left), and everything is more in depth. All of this is in preparation for the AP exam to (hopefully) receive college credit - HOWEVER, even if that is not the plan, it doesn't mean this class is not right for you. The critical thinking skills and problem solving strategies acquired from AP physics will leave a person much more prepared for ANY rigorous scientific or mathematical endeavor than someone without.

Lesson PlansThe tentative full year plan that I try to stick by is in the syllabus, but my actual day-to-day plans are linked below. I keep a constant running list every week, so the newest plans will always be on top - scroll down to see previous weeks. This year in particular I decided to put all 5 classes on one document, so make sure you're looking at the right slides.

RemindThe Remind App allows two-way communication without me giving out my actual phone number to students. It is by far the fastest way to get in touch with me, and also allows me to send out useful information to the whole class.
To access it, simply send at text to the number 81010. The text should say simply @lewisapphy |
SyllabusThe syllabus contains the expectations and general schedule for the class. Please be sure to read through it, as it contains information pertaining to rules, grade policies, and other necessary info.
